Port of Leith Oloroso Sherry
Port of Leith Oloroso Sherry
Like us, many whisky fans adore whiskies that have been matured in ex-sherry casks. So we thought we'd talk about the sherry.
Sourced from Bodegas Baron, a 480-year-old producer with a very modern outlook, the un-matured version of this Oloroso wine will be used to season oak casks in Sanlúcar de Barrameda, in the heart of Jerez in South West Spain, before they are shipped to Scotland to fill with whisky.
